Friends Seasons 7 - 8

quarter_to_fiveMy attention span is gone. Yesterday I thought "wow, my attention span is down to that of a stale cupcake...ooh, cupcakes...no, cupcakes are hard." I made cookies. But tomorrow! Tomorrow there is class, and work! Finally. I wonder how long it will take me to get across town, which is a nightmare even when there isn't this bizarre frozen white stuff everywhere?
So in my quest to watch all sitcoms or something, I tried to catch up on Friends. I mean, I have to - eventually I'd get spoilered.
- Rachel is way funnier than I remember. Not just sympathetic (actually, they're all pretty sympathetic. Except Ross. People need to stop being friends with Ross. "Friends and one jerk we kind of keep around because family") but really funny and with the most surprising line deliveries and best timing.
- Wow, Ross is insufferable.
- I now see why Chandler is my favorite character. It is because I am disturbingly like him. But then, isn't everyone? Well, maybe not.
- Only I too actually dislike dogs. And I too am extremely wary of openly admitting it, lest I be shunned totally from society. That was actually an incredibly cathartic episode.
- On that note, I actually, physically can't watch - and in fact stopped, at some point - Season 8 in large parts, because Matthew Perry looks so fucking bad. Part of it is that I feel bad for him, but part of it is that he was very cute and i'm used to really enjoying looking at him. Which is shallow, but there you go. (I thought of making this a postsecret, but googling something like "chandler bing looking bad" for the background is really uncomfortable. And paint is hard.)
So that was me, continuing to lower the sophistication of your reading list, while trapped by snow. Hopefully for us all this will be the end of it.

He does look better as the seasons goes on. It's not even a question of hotness, more of...health.
