maybe not today, maybe not tommorow

Has anyone seen Season 2 of American Horror Story? I watched and really liked season 1, but two episodes into season 2, it seems to have a whole different vibe. Season 1 didn't have any clear cut heroes and villains, and there seemed to be some sort of amorphous "evil presence," but it wasn't terribly important to the story. It was just this parade of normal people doing horrible things to other people, and then suffering for it but doing horrible things again, over and over. Season 2 looks like it has a much more clear cut good vs. bad story and nothing in the way of similarly compelling characters, and so far kind of bores me. Not sure whether to keep watching.
