I can't sleep. I can't sleep, because if I lie down I can't breathe. I really hate being sick. I'm also sorry for the spam.
Writing resolutions 2014, in roughly this order:
Finish that fandom stocking fic. Like now. (needs another 1-2k)
Finish the three half-written short stories that have been languishing about all year. (another 6k, maybe all told.) Send them the fuck out. Rejections are fun! Can't have rejections without stories!
Finish that romance novella that you started in Scotland that is half-written. (10k)
Finish the romance novel that is also half-written and all plotted out from the spring. (30k)
Finish the steampunk thing that was the 2012 nano. It only needs another 15k or so. Come on! (15k)
Decide, already, if the Dieselpunk thing that was the Nano from like 3 years ago is alt-history or secondary world and just fucking write it, properly, because apparently that last minute, off the cuff, piece of nanononsense isn't going anywhere. (80k)
Finish a bunch of those fics you started. (10k, maybe?)
That is not that many Ks! I can do this.
If, and only if, all that is done, consider doing something with the epic fantasy thing, the mystery thing, that idiotic idea you have about a Golem in the Siwa Oasis in 1942, the other idiotic idea about Afghanistan in 1979 and that half written SF/Romance novella you have written all the emotional arc scenes of but still have no plot for whatsoever.
DO NOT START ANYTHING ELSE.
