I love the mix it has, of pretty good farcical mysteries and a really surreal, absurdist, very genre-savvy sort of humor, and some very, very thorny characterization and deconstruction. It really deserves to be a beloved cult classic instead of as obscure as it is. Oh, and Pierce Brosnan is really astonishingly, distractingly hot.
